Engineering Services Terms

1. What these terms cover

These terms apply to AECVeda Engineering Services ordered on aecveda.com or inside the AECVeda app: DBR Express, Design Review, BOQ Preparation and Design Studio. They are in addition to the Terms of Service. AECVeda Engineering Services is offered by Indravadan Vala, trading as AECVeda ("AECVeda", "we").

2. Online scope

Orders are accepted online for Category A and B projects up to 50,000 sq ft of built-up area. Category C and D projects, larger projects, BIM / Revit work, international codes, site visits and statutory approvals are not sold online. For these, we pass your enquiry to Esscons MEP, an independent firm, who replies by email.

3. Price and payment

The price is calculated from the published rate card and shown, including 18% GST, before you pay. Work starts only after full payment. A GST invoice is issued for every paid order.

4. Your inputs

You give us the drawings, answers and files listed on the order page. An automatic intake check lists anything missing before the order can be submitted. The results depend on your inputs, so please check them carefully. If the built-up area or category measured from your drawings differs from what you declared, the price is recalculated: you pay the difference, or the excess is returned to you.

5. System-generated deliverables

Every deliverable is produced automatically by the AECVeda system from your inputs. No engineer reviews, checks or signs it. Each document and drawing carries the notice: "System-generated by AECVeda. Not reviewed or signed by an engineer. Must be checked by the client's qualified engineer before use." You are responsible for having the deliverables checked by your own qualified engineer before you use them.

6. Drawing status

Drawings are issued "For Coordination / Tender". They are marked "Draft GFC" only if you confirm on the order that the architectural and structural backgrounds are final and coordinated. A Draft GFC drawing is not for construction: your engineer must review it before you issue it as GFC, and the GFC issue is your responsibility.

7. Delivery and regenerations

Target delivery times are shown on the order page and count from a successful submission. Each order includes 2 free regenerations within 15 days of delivery: correct your inputs or upload revised drawings of the same project and the system produces a new version. Further regenerations, or a re-review after 15 days, cost 40% of the original fee.

8. Refunds

If the system cannot process your order (for example unreadable drawings) or the project turns out to be outside the online scope, the order is cancelled and refunded in full. After delivery there is no cash refund; the free regenerations cover corrections to your inputs. If you report a genuine system error (not caused by your inputs) with evidence within 15 days of delivery, we fix it free and it does not use up a regeneration. If it cannot be fixed, you get 50% of that order back as credit.

9. Confidentiality

Your files are used only to process your order. They are not shared, and they are not used to train AI models. We keep them for 12 months after delivery so you can regenerate, and then delete them.

10. Communication

All communication about orders is in writing, by email or the in-app chat. We do not offer calls, meetings or site visits for online orders.

11. Liability

Our total liability for any order is limited to the fee you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect losses, or for any use of a deliverable that was not checked by your qualified engineer.
